Kate Sambrook


Kate has been admitted to practice since 2011 and has a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.

Prior to joining Aitken Lawyers, Kate worked for five years in a leading boutique corporate and commercial firm where she was involved in complex commercial and securities litigation, and high profile corporate litigation.

Kate understands the need to provide practical, intelligent and cost-effective solutions and always strives to achieve the optimal negotiated, mediated or litigated outcome for her clients.

Kate’s areas of practice include commercial and corporate disputes, directors’ duties, professional indemnity and director / officer policy claims and disputes, employment disputes, commercial property disputes, equitable claims and remedies, contractual disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, regulatory actions and enquiries, and estate and family provision disputes.

When she’s not looking after clients, Kate is passionate about supporting local producers and growers and often spends time with her family who are in the business of olive growing, producing and purveying in Kangaroo Valley.
